Check Chinese mainland LED enterprise strength on Frankfurt trade show

The ninth Frankfurt international lighting and building technology and equipment exhibition (light + Building 2016) was gorgeous opened on March 13 in German Messe Frankfurt. In the following six days (until March 18), OPPLE, MLSKMS-VAUTID, Nation-star, Honglitronic, Foshan Lighting, Chau Ming science and technology, Feile Audio-Visual and other more than 30 Chinese mainland enterprises will show Chinese LED brands and reputation to whole the world.



The first Light + Building trade show was successfully held in 1999 and since then it is held every two years, it already becomes one of the most influential international exhibition for lighting and architecture industries. There are more than 2500 enterprises from more than 60 countries are attending the Light + Building 2016 and professional audience amount is over 200 thousands, the exhibition scale gets larger then the last time.


Light + Building is an exhibition associated with glory, the lighting and architecture enterprises from all over the world are competing their products and facing directly to the latest fashion trends and latest technology and the senior engineers, corporate decision makers, wholesalers and retailers in the top exhibition platform. The Chinese mainland LED enterprises don’t scare to compete with the international giants in the exhibition, what’s the reason?


If we recall the development of mainland led enterprises in last year, we won’t get surprised. According to the research result from LEDinside which was issued in July 2015, in 2014 Chinese top ten LED packaging manufacturers took up to 45.6% market and had 2% growth compared with the same period in 2013. And in LED chips market, the mainland enterprises such as Sanan Optoelectronics, Elec-Tech and Tongfang photoelectric occupied three places in the 2014 global top ten LED chips supplier and Sanan Optoelectronics was ranked on the second position.


We believe Chinese mainland LED enterprises have preliminary built national brands in the world LED market. However, we must realize that Chinese LED brands is still week, at present the global semiconductor lighting industry has formed three areas in the United States, Europe and Asia as the leading brands of the three pillars of distribution and competitive landscape. Brand awareness and brand reputation of high and low for the product competitiveness strength criteria. Efforts to foster has higher popularity LED brand in China, enhancing the international competitiveness of China LED enterprises, is an effective way of China's LED industry upgrading.
